In the two days we had covered long work, wave work, ground work, striking, short work, very short work, escape from holds and grabs, strike absorption, breath work, etc. After each topic Alex allowed us to use lots of "free play" as he called it to more fully explore each topic. This gave the training a more realistic feel and allowed us to develop our understanding of the work to a greater depth.

Finally Alex was asked by a few people to demonstrate some strikes. Alex took them up and allowed them to feel a few real Systema strikes. This was great to see but very bad for the guys receiving. There is no doubt that Alex Kostic is a very impressive Systema Instructor.

And finally, I need to thank Alex Kostic for a wonderfully constructed and beautifully delivered seminar. Thank you for being such a passionate and dedicated Systema teacher / Instructor, and thank you for being such a nice guy.
