Last week, I attended Alex Kostic's seminar in Serbia, not only was the country beautiful, and everyone who attended friendly, but the training and instruction by Alex and the rest of the main instructors there, was  1st class.
I really liked Alex's take on systema, which included,  ground work and bio-mechanics, i found these  both challenging, but necessary if i want to promote smooth transitional movements in my work and improve as a practioner of the system.

Alex built on each movement from the previous day and added more complex movements and drills  which covered ground work, kicking, striking: how to  break structure in a way that i have not encountered before. We also did mass fist fighting, plus wrestling.

All in all,a very memorable seminar which has left me personally, with lots to think about to practice and refine.
